Thursdays Are Special

Yesterday was Wednesday and I signed up for a 4:00 o’clock tour of the proton therapy institute. In this tour they take you behind the scenes and show you all the inner workings of the different gantries that they have. So, my regular appointment yesterday was in the morning, and I came home. (that’s interesting, I’m calling Third & Main home) I waited around until 3:45 and then I went back to the institute for the tour. When I got there, they told me the tour had been cancelled. They were very apologetic, took my name and number and said somebody would call me to set up another tour.

Thursdays are special because after your regular treatment you meet with your dream team.

First, I met with Jacey, one if my care nurses, then I met with Dr. Bill. He said with the limited amount of data that they have everything is looking good so far. He also said they’re predicting my treatments should be over by April the 20th. So, my last treatment will be April 20th that’s good information to have.
