A Positive Checkup in Jacksonville – April 23, 2024

Following my recent trip to Jacksonville, Florida for the annual checkup at the Florida Proton Therapy Institute, I am thrilled to share some updates on the progress of my health journey. Accompanied by Nancy, the visit involved comprehensive assessments, and I am happy to report that everything is on track.

Notable Changes:

1. PSA Level: I am delighted to share that my PSA level continues to decrease, with the goal of maintaining it below 1.0. This positive trend reflects the effectiveness of the treatment by the University of Florida Proton Therapy Institute.

2. Medical Team Update: Dr. Mendenhall, who was previously involved in the after-treatment follow-up, is no longer in this role. This change signifies a transition in my medical journey, with continued support from dedicated professionals.

3. Property Manager Update: Melissa, the property manager at the Third & Main apartments, is no longer in that role. This change may bring new dynamics to the living environment, reflecting the inevitable shifts in everyday life.

As I reflect on these updates, I am grateful for the progress in my health and the support received from the medical team. The journey towards holistic well-being involves adapting to changes and embracing new stages in life.

Here’s to good health, positive checkups, and the peace of mind that comes with knowing that everything is going according to plan.
