The next step in the intake process was to have a chest X-ray. I was a little concerned because in the past whenever they used their machines to look inside me, they always found something they weren’t expecting. But this time the report came back reading “No acute processes identified”, and I think this is good.
One more picture before I go back to Jacksonville and that will be the MRI. We are waiting for my Medicare insurance to take place on February 1st before this can be scheduled. The doctors use the MRI to help guide the protons. I’m hopeful the MRI can be scheduled STAT because I’ve been waiting one year and four months.
