Where Everybody Knows Your Name

Well, maybe not everybody but at least one waitress does. I’ve mentioned in previous posts that there is a restaurant/bar within the Third & Main complex. I have had breakfast there on three different occasions and have gotten to know Alanna who is a waitress there. This morning after my treatment I went there for breakfast and when I entered the restaurant Alanna was working the bar and she shouted out “Good morning, Don. Your usual?” And I replied, “Yes, thank you, Alanna”. Now I know how Norm felt.

The restaurant/bar located at Third & Main is called Uptown Kitchen and Bar and it serves a very diverse, inclusive, clientele. It is a great place to people watch and Alana is a sweetheart.

PS. My usual is two eggs, bacon, waffle and coffee.
