During my initial consultation with the doctor and nurse who will oversee my treatment at the Proton Therapy Institute, I was very impressed. If they agree I hope to introduce them to you in a later post.
To give you a brief example of why I was impressed with the doctor, he gave me his cell phone number. In all of my 80-something years and the numerous doctors that I have met, none of them have ever encouraged me to call them directly, if need be,
When I arrived back home I texted him the following message:
“I’m not sure if you appreciated your impact, but your explanations and comments during our consultation gave further assurance that I have made the correct decision in placing my care in the hands of the UFHealth Proton Therapy Institute.“
He responded: “Thank you so much”
